In this intensive, motivational workshop, your tutor will focus on what to write, how to write it, and then how to present your work to potential buyers. The workshop will cover creating effective story synopses, treatments, powerful cover blurbs and strong promotional material. Plus tutorials on publishing contracts, author advances, royalties, translation rights and overseas sales.   

The day will also help you to create an easy to use step outline for your book, and to devise a writing plan that you can stick to. The tutor will also look at style, genre, dialogue and creating believable characters, as well as sharing a number of tried and tested secrets for getting past that dreaded blank sheet of paper!

This workshop will also cover developing writing skills, self-editing and overcoming that dreaded writers block.
